Party like it's your Mothabirthaversary...

Thanks to my parents, myself, and Hallmark, late-April and early May are full of celebration :) My birthday is on May 11th, Mother's Day is May 8th this year, and on April 29th, we celebrated our royal fifth anniversary. Wait, the 'royal' part belongs to some other relatively famous couple :) Nick was actually working on the east coast that day, but he surprised me with a great Sunday and Monday at the LaPlaya Resort and Beach Club in Naples. We actually brought Brixon with us, as Nick was working out-of-town for the five days prior, and was missing him! We had the most gorgeous room, that walked right out onto the beach. Brixon loved the pool and playing in the sand, but wanted nothing to do with the ocean! He would point to the pool and say "I'll go in that pool, but not in that one!," then pointing at the ocean! We had a great time, and I'm looking forward to all of the exciting things coming up in the next week (like finding out whether we're having a boy Hudson or a girl Hudson!)
