Brixon's Newborn Photos!
You're famous, little man!!!
On Thursday, we went to a parade in downtown Punta Gorda celebrating the Tampa Bay Rays coming to town for spring training. Well, I couldn't find a onesie small enough for B, so I ended up having to make my own...it couldn't have been any more of a hit! He was on WINK news and NBC 2 news, and was also in the newspaper!!! Mommy had a bunch of the players sign his onesie..with him in it! They loved it! Now we have a special memory of the day that we will be getting framed. Here are some photos of the day...

Notes from my first month in office...
I am completely convinced that being a mom is the best thing in the world. Every morning when I wake up (actually, night, late night, very early morning, and early morning), I am still in awe of the blessing that I have been given. Every day just gets better and better! I am amazed at how much he has grown (physically and developmentally) in the short span of a month! He now makes little sounds instead of just grunts (which are hilarious), his leg muscles are really getting strong, and just the past few nights, he has been sleeping in 3-hour blocks!! He wasn't a fan of his bassinet, but he sleeps wonderfully in his cradle 'n swing. It's really funny how having a baby has made other things seem to trivial. Things that used to make me frustrated or high-strung (like Bin 82 or my dogs :) ), really don't bother me. I am learning to be more laid-back like my husband, and not get so stressed out! Even the projectile poo down the front of my pajamas in the middle of the night makes me laugh! Brixon had his one-month (!) pediatrician visit yesterday, and he now weighs 9 lbs, 14 oz., which is 3 lbs. and 1 oz. more than what he weighed at his first ped visit on January 14th (that explains the feeding every 45 minutes!), and is 22 inches long (also explaining why one day he couldn't straighten his legs in his newborn pj's anymore!). His reflexes are great and the doctor said he looks "perfect!" He got his first shot, but handled it like a champ! He even got a Snoopy band-aid on it! His newborn pics should be here soon, but here are some to hold you over...
