One?!? Say it Ain't So...

Our baby turned one on October 8! What a great year we've had...Hudson is such a funny, spirited, loving little man, and we all absolutely adore him. I love to watch the relationship he has with Brixon grow and change (I'm hearing a lot more "MOM! Huddy stole my car!" lately...), and can't wait to watch them continue to bond.

We had the family over for cake on his actual birthday (after we dragged ourselves off of a red-eye flight), and then a Monsters Inc. party on Saturday the 13th. I think he's still recovering from his frosting overdose...

They Must Drink Wine for Breakfast...

I could see myself living here. In fact, I already found Brixon's school, our perfect neighborhood, and my morning coffee hangout. Ahhh. Five days in California wine country wasn't enough!! The towns were unbelievable (St. Helena and Healdsburg were my favorite), the weather was fantastic, and the people were so hospitable (you would be, too if you made wine for a living!) Nick goes every year during harvest, and I couldn't wait to go with him this year! We had plenty of great wine, and a lot of fun with old and new friends! And we wrapped it all up with a day in San Francisco. Counting down the days until we go back.
