Disney World? Sure, I can handle it. A Fourth of July Extravaganza? Yup! Backyard fireworks lit off of a 2 x 4? No sir. This year, since we worked at the studio alllll day long, we did a neighborhood party for New Year's. We have great neighbors who love to cook (and everyone loves good wine), so it was a lot of fun. Until around 11:30 when the fireworks came out...so I rang in the New Year making an Ikea shopping list for the following day while Hudson slept peacefully, and Nick and Brixon enjoyed a pyrotechnic display of somewhat mass proportions :) Happy 2014!

Christmastime is Here...
With the new studio getting ready to open in January, I haven't really been able to savor the holidays like I normally do. We have been spending nearly every waking moment destructing, constructing, and everything else that goes along with starting a new business! It has been great, but a little overwhelming! We've managed to make the best out of the moments that we have :) Brixon loved Christmas this year. He really understood the whole concept of talking to Santa, and then Santa actually 'listening.' Now only if we could get him to grasp the concept of appreciation! Oh boy. This child is spoiled! I'm working on it...The day before Christmas Eve, we took the boys to carol around the hospital, and they really enjoyed themselves! Then on the way home, we stopped at the fire station, where they were shown (and allowed to climb in) every single vehicle! They really loved that. The weeks were filled with Christmas programs, parades, fake snow, and lots of family time! Enjoy the photos below!
