I have always loved history, and have always wanted to get my master's degree. So about two years ago, I started taking some prerequisite classes, and last September, I began the MA in History program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. It is definitely rigorous, and time consuming, but I'm just taking one class at a time, which seems to be manageable :) I even successfully completed a twenty-five page paper on Lithuanian Immigration to the United States in the 1940s, and got an A- in my first class. I am now in my second semester, and not quite enjoying the topic of Historiography much, I am still glad to be in progress. It is a 30 credit program, and I am completing three per semester. It's going to take me several years to finish, but I'm not in any rush. I'm trying, like I said in my previous post, to just enjoy the present!
