It's a regular three-ring circus around here!

I like being busy; I really do. But it has gotten crazy around here! Between working full-time (and then some), housekeeping, being a wife (to a very busy self-employed husband!), being a mom (to a wild toddler!), training a puppy (our timing is impeccable!), and being 30 weeks pregnant, I am exhausted! Even taking a shower has become a chore! I'm not quite sure where the energy will muster itself up from when we have a newborn, but just so you know, if you're reading this, and you live within a 30-mile radius, you may be getting a call for help ;) Aside from the craziness of everyday life, we have been keeping busy with some fun stuff, too! Thank God for camera phones, or I wouldn't have any memories at all! It is amazing that the girl who used to carry her camera with her to a dentist appointment (okay, small exaggeration) can't remember to bring it anywhere these days! Museums, jam sessions, swimming, athletics, and taking up most of our time, working on Brixon's big boy room! I feel like I am living in a very long episode of 'designstar!' In the past two weeks, we have made three trips to Ikea (Tampa and Orlando, friends...not like running to the neighborhood Walmart) to get furniture and decor for Brixon's authentic Chicago Cubs room. Nick is super into this; I mean ivy on the walls, recruiting my dad for murals, Louisville Sluggers, you name it. I am more than happy to give up the creative control on this one! Brixon is loving it, too. He just sits on his new bed every night watching dad work! So things are hectic, my house isn't as neat as I'm used to having it, and I never seem to get enough sleep, but I wouldn't trade it for a thing :)
