I like being busy. Really busy, apparently. I've been inspired to pick up some new hobbies, and reacquaint myself with some old. So here's a rundown of some of my latest endeavors.
I love creativity; I love planning, designing, and watching a project come together. For the past few years, I've been doing different handmade gifts for my friends and their kids. A few months back, my sister-in-law and I decided that we could sell some of my creations at Tiki's. Thus, CradleROCKER was born :) (See below)
I love dancing; teaching and performing are ingrained in my soul. But it hasn't been easy to find a way to fit it in with a full-time job, two kids, and a husband who travels for work. But this year, I found a way to marry all of my priorities. I will be starting a dance program, and operating out of Brixon's school, Joyful Noise Learning Center at Pilgrim Church. I will be starting classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and am so excited to be able to found a program from the ground up. And Studio 7 was born :)
I hate running; I hate it more than doing dishes, fire ants, and elderly drivers combined. But a few weeks ago, I decided that if I could run in a Disney costume, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. So my friend Chantil and I started training, and training hard, to run in the Disney Princess Half-Marathon next February. And you know what? It isn't so bad. Therefore, a half-marathon runner is born ;)
