More life changes?!?! Sure why not...

This week marks a new beginning for us. Brixon will be starting at the Joyful Noise Learning Center! As hard as it is to imagine that he won't be with Mimi every day, he is definitely ready for some socialization! In fact, we brought him there to introduce him to his teacher, and he got right down from Nick's arms and took off down the hall! That kid cracks me up. I'm sure glad he never went through the 'clingy' phase, but geez, it would be nice to think he'll miss me ;) I think this is the perfect time to put him in learning mode...these days, it's kind of like living with a parrot! He repeats everything we say! Which is why daddy is learning to choose his words very carefully :) This is probably the last time I'll post a list of the words he's saying, because it's getting pretty extensive! He has mastered broom, boom, down, off, bug, cold, up (which he whispers!), yum, nummy, heavy (this is combined with grunting when he picks up his 4-foot tall Big Bird and carries it across the room!), done, cat, acky, yuck, down, hi, Bob (in reference to his giant Spongebob. On that note, what is up with all of the enormous stuffed animals in my house?!?!), plane, and gone. He's a talker, that kid! He also has a new game, which reminds me of how much I loved Memory when I was a kid! Unfortunately, it capitalizes on the disaster that is my closet! He'll go pull a shoe out of the mountain that I have on my closet floor, and bring it to me. Then we'll ask him to find the match, and he does!!! Well, I'm off to bed to prepare myself for this week...wish me luck, and I'll let you know how it goes!
