So I am almost 26 weeks along, and getting bigger by the minute. I swear, it is like watching a solar eclipse...I see less and less of my feet every day! It was especially awesome today when the lady at Dillard's saw that I was in line to try a few dresses on (not maternity, but loose-fitting nonetheless) and said "Do you want to try those on? Oh wait, you probably can't try those on today, can you?!?!" Even Brixon was peeved at that comment! It was quite satisfying to come out of the fitting room and tell her that two of them were too big, however.
I started prenatal yoga a few weeks ago, and thank God! This body needs to be stretched! I wish I could go every day. The relaxation and meditation are amazing! Especially after the two major pregnancy meltdowns that I've endured thus far (yes, only two...I'm sure there are more on the way). The first occurred while getting ready for 70's Night at Bin 82. I thought I would make a cute Daisy Duke (with my belly covered..duh). Not so much. Jamie Lynn Spears, perhaps, but no Daisy Duke. Nick thought it was hilarious that I was lying in a pool of mass hysteria on my closet floor (yet he was kind enough not to laugh until I had composed myself again). No worries, though. I found an old dance costume that fit over my growth quite nicely. The second breakdown was this week while searching for a crib. For someone who is as skilled at shopping as this girl, I thought it would be fun. Oy vey. So many choices, so many prices, so many salespeople. We eventually found one on Tuesday...now I just have to hope it gets here in one piece!
Speaking of the nursery, here are some early photos of the AMAZING work that my dad has done!
