Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it seems as though we might just be entering a new phase. A phase of kindness, affection, and dare I say it, listening?!?! A world where I can get ready in the morning without listening to the mass hysteria that results from inadequate butter-spreading on our waffles. A universe in which toddlers go to bed at 8pm with no argument....ahh, we're not there yet. But a mom can dream, right?! Aside from the bedtime battles, I have my sweet Brixon back. It has been about two weeks, but he seems to have matured a little bit within that time. Maybe my bald patches will start to fill in now ;)
Hudson is getting bigger by the day. He has five (!) teeth now, and is ready to eat steak with his big brother! He sits up and plays, waves 'bye-bye,' and looks like he's on the verge of crawling (much to my dismay). He still has the best temperament, and loves nothing more than playing with Brixon.
Aside from keeping super busy with work and the kids, we have undertaken a massive backyard rehaul. We have done a ton of landscaping to try and get a little bit of privacy back there, and are in the process of building a huge patio. We are quickly running out of space inside, so we are expanding outside. I'm very excited for it to be done! I'll post photos of the transformation when it's complete.
With his buddy, Davin. In the clothes hamper.
Our indoor camping trip, complete with campfire (our fireplace) and s'mores (made in the microwave)
My tuition money being put to good use on triceratops rides ;)
Look at those thighs! They're like the giant turkey legs you can get at Disney World!
