30 was a great year. It started with the best party ever
(see my post ‘Candy is Dandy’ to relive the madness!), and included a trip to
Italy, the start of Studio Seven Dance, and lots of memories with family and
friends. So after a year like that, how do you kick off 31?! No better place
than Disney, of course! We grabbed Mimi and Papa and headed up to the Magic
Kingdom on Friday afternoon. The weather was perfect, it wasn’t too busy, and
the kids had a great time. Brixon made a few new lady friends over the weekend,
too…check out the photos ;) Saturday, which was my birthday, was spent at Epcot
(my favorite!!). Brixon loved riding Test Track and visiting all of the
countries! All I wanted to do was have a glass of champagne and a croissant in “France.”
Oh, and I did J.
We had a great dinner in Italy, then headed back to the hotel. Mimi and Papa
offered to do the bedtime routine with the boys so Nick and I could grab a frozen drink and sit in the hot tub! Sunday was Mother's Day, and we celebrated at Hollywood Studios. Hudson absolutely loved the Disney Junior show. He was singing and dancing like nobody's business. It was the perfect weekend :)
So every year I set a new goal; last year I decided to run the Disney Princess Half-Marathon. Check. This year, I decided that I want to learn French. I took it for three years in high school, and know beginner level, but I want to become fluent. If you ride in my car, you will hear 'Lesson One: Bonjour......Hello." And when I do become fluent, I will go to Paris. Where I will drink champagne and eat croissants.
