Just typing that title was enough to incite panic. I cannot believe that in seven short weeks (at the MOST!), I will have two children. I tried to think of something to blog about other than kids this week, but I can't do it! Every waking moment has been spent prepping for Hudson, or prepping Brixon for Hudson!! We have been working on Brixon's new room (or Wrigley Field South) nonstop. We're a few minor details away from finishing, so I'll make sure I post photos when we're done. He has been sleeping (and playing for hours!) in there for the past week now, and absolutely loves it. My dad did some great artwork for the walls, and as he was hanging it, Brixon said "Thank you for making those for me, Papa!" It was too cute. In fact, that child comes up with so many things to say that I had to start keeping a notebook so I could remember all of them! Not a day goes by that I don't have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard at something he comes up with! Yesterday, he grabbed a little chair out of his room and dragged it over to where Nick was sitting. He looked at me and said "I have to talk to Daddy about something." He sat down, and very casually said, "So, how was your day?" He is quite the conversationalist. And very opinionated (where
does he get it from?!)! He wants a say in everything from the cup he drinks out of, to the shirt he wears, to the music we listen to (if he likes it, he'll say "this is nice music!," and if he doesn't, he will tell you that it hurts his ears). My favorite thing that he does these days is lay on my belly and talk to Hudson. Almost every morning, he will get up and ask me if Hudson is here yet. When I tell him no (and that he will definitely know when there is a new baby around!), he puts his face right in my belly and starts talking. Let's hope he is this excited when the baby actually gets here!!
Surprisingly, Nick and I did get out and do something adult-like (and quite spontaneous!) for the first time in a while. We were offered some free tickets to the Maroon 5 and Train concert in Tampa this past Wednesday, and decided to go. They are a little too pop for what I usually like, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea Adam Levine was such a great guitar player. He's no John Mayer, but then again, who is ;) Aside from the late drive home, we had a lot of fun.
Here are some photos of what else we've been up to...

Thumbs up, Stoney!

I would like to take credit for this photo, but it was my mom :)
